01Introduction
Unify Payroll (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit unifypayroll.com or use our payroll services.
We’re a small team based in Fort Collins, Colorado. We handle sensitive payroll data every day — we take that responsibility seriously, and this policy reflects how we actually operate, not what a template says.
We collect what we need to run payroll, store it on iSolved’s SOC 1 / SOC 2 platform, never sell it, and let you request a copy or deletion at any time.
02Information we collect
We collect the categories of information described below, only when it’s necessary to provide our services or operate our website.
- Contact information — name, email, phone, and company submitted through our website forms.
- Payroll and employment data — employee names, Social Security numbers, wages, tax withholdings, and other data needed to run payroll.
- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, and referring URLs (collected via standard analytics tools).
- Cookies and tracking — see the Cookies section for specifics.
03How we use it
- To provide and maintain our payroll services
- To process payroll, tax filings, and compliance reporting

- To improve our website and services
- To comply with legal obligations
04How we protect it
We use industry-standard security to protect your data. Our payroll platform, iSolved, uses encryption, secure data centers, and strict access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we don’t pretend otherwise.
Email support@unifypayroll.com right away. We investigate every report.
07Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. Colorado residents may have additional rights under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), including the right to opt out of targeted advertising and certain data sales.
To exercise CPA rights, email support@unifypayroll.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We respond within 45 days.
08Data retention
We keep payroll records as long as required by federal and Colorado tax law (generally 4-7 years), then we delete them. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
09Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top tells you when. For material changes, we’ll notify clients directly.
