Our Story
Unify Payroll grew out of Unify CPA and Unify Wealth Management, where we spent years cleaning up payroll messes we didn't create. As accountants and financial advisors, we saw the same problems over and over again.
Payroll data that didn't match the books. Tax credits left on the table because the payroll provider didn't know to look for them. Retirement plan and benefit contributions out of sync with deductions. FAMLI filings done wrong — or not done at all. Financial statements with payroll errors that took hours to untangle every quarter.
These weren't edge cases. They were happening to nearly every small business client who used a national payroll provider. The disconnect between payroll, accounting, and retirement planning was costing our clients real money and real time.
So we built the payroll company we wished our clients already had — one that gets the numbers right, understands Colorado compliance, and works hand-in-hand with your accountant and financial advisor from day one.
